The super-condensed version of the Yachtless.com commandments. Stick to them and you will be blessed. Disobey them and suffer!

The number one rule for user and member conduct on the Yachtless website is:

Be polite, civilized and pleasant at all times and conduct yourself in a way that will contribute to other Yachtless users' pleasant experience of the Yachtless website.

The second golden rule is:

All publicly displayed posts, messages and articles must be in the English language. User content contributions that are not in English will be removed. This is the rule. It is not up for discussion. If you absolutely need to know the reasons for this rule, you may read Why English Only?

The third golden rule is:

Your username and password is WHO YOU ARE on the Yachtless website. Only you may use your username and password to access the Yachtless website as a member. Users may not permit others to use their usernames and passwords.

The fourth golden rule is:

Do not SPAM.

If you are a generally nice, law-abiding South African citizen, and you follow these four easy rules, you shouldn't ever fall foul of the Yachtless website rules. But just to make sure, also read and abide by these rules about prohibited conduct on the Yachtless website:

Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not submit user information that is untrue, inaccurate, out-dated, or incomplete, and that you will maintain and update all submitted information to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete. Each time you update such information, you represent and warrant that such information is true, accurate, current, and complete.

You agree that you will not use the Yachtless website, products and services to

1. negatively affects other users' ability to use the Yachtless website.
2. interfere with any Yachtless official or employee in the performance of his/her duties.
3. intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, or international law.
4. "stalk" or otherwise harass another.
5. collect or store personally identifying information about other users for commercial or unlawful purposes.
6. impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a Yachtless website official or employee, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
7. use misleading email addresses or falsify information in the header, footer, return path, or any part of any communication, including emails and personal messages transmitted through the Yachtless website.
8. facilitates hacking.
9. conduct your own contests and/or promotions.
10. advertise, offer for sale, or sell any item you are prohibited from advertising or selling by any applicable local, international law.
11. access the Yachtless website, its products or services, after your access has been terminated by Yachtless.

You agree that you will not use the Yachtless website, products and services to post, upload, email, otherwise transmit content or link to content, messages, pictures or any other material or choose a username or avatar, that

1. is unlawful or promotes illegal activity
2. is harmful,
3. is threatening,
4. is abusive,
5. is harassing,
6. is invasive of privacy,
7. is defamatory,
8. is libelous,
9. is vulgar,
10. is obscene,
11. is pornographic, exploits the images of children under 18 years of age, make any sexual request on behalf of a minor, make any sexual request of a minor, or harm minors in any other way,
12. is hateful, or racially, sexually, ethnically or otherwise objectionable,
13. is offensive to the Yachtless website community or the spirit of these Terms and Conditions.
14. infringes or facilitates infringement on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary or intellectual property rights.
15. is intentionally false, misleading, or designed to manipulate any market.
16. you do not have a right to do so under any law or regulation or contractual obligation or professional or trust relationships (such as inside information, or confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements).
17. contains any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation.
18. contains software viruses, trojan horses, trap doors, time bombs, worms or any other code, script or repetitive information requests aimed at interrupting, destroying, crippling or unauthorized access of any party's software, hardware or communications service or any part of the Yachtless website, its products or services.
19. promotes any raffle, contest or game requiring a fee by participants.

You agree that you will not use discussions on the Yachtless website to recommend, praise, or belittle other products or services, or any company, without providing comprehensive justification for expressing such opinions. Allegations and criticism without providing justification and/or suggestions for improvement will not be tolerated.

You agree that you will not actively solicit Yachtless website users and members to use your particular company or services. Yachtless allows you to write your own member article and member description, and to place a link to your website in your member profile. A link to your member article and your website link will accompany every article and comment you post to the Yachtless website. Additionally, your member description will accompany every article you submit. Yachtless will even allow you to post an article about your specific services or company in the category of your choice. Yachtless feels that this is enough information for users to make up their own minds about using your services or not. Active user and/or member solicitation will not be tolerated.

You agree that you will not decompile, disassemble, modify, translate, adapt, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or sub-license any software deployed in connection with the Yachtless website, its products or services.

Please choose carefully the information you post on the Yachtless website and provide to other members. Especially consider carefully before revealing any telephone numbers, street addresses, names, URLs email addresses and any photographs that you or another party may want to keep private.

You acknowledge and agree that Yachtless shall have the right (but not the obligation), in their sole discretion, to edit, change or remove any content whatsoever from the Yachtless website, at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all, with or without notice.

It is your responsibility to keep up-to-date with changes to the Website Rules, which may be revised from time to time. The Website Rules will be accessible through a clear and conspicuous link near the bottom of most pages of the Yachtless website.
