Post term

This page allows you to post a new term to the sailing dictionary. Please provide as much detail as possible. (Required fields are marked with a red *)

The term*The term being added to the sailing dictionary.
Term type*The type of term being added to the sailing dictionary.
Term tooltip*A very short description of the term. The tooltip must be less than 75 characters long and will be displayed if someone's mouse cursor lingers over the term link.
Term description*A short description of the term, its use and meaning.
Term contentAn elaboration on the meaning and use of the sailing term, along with any additional information.
Dictionary category*You are posting your term to this category's dictionary. Select the category that best relates to the term you are adding to the dictionary.
Dictionary locationYou are also posting your sailing term to this location. If the term is local to a specific area, select this location.
SynonymsSailing terms with the same meaning. If there is another term (or terms) in the directory for the same thing, please select the appropriate synonym from the list. If there is no viable synonym yet, select the "NONE" option.
The term authorThe crew member adding the term to the sailing dictionary.
